Overview of the Role The Head of SMB Accounts will lead the strategic management of a $35–40 M revenue portfolio spanning approximately 100–140 accounts and 300 active team members. This critical role focuses on driving client retention, identifying high‑potential accounts, and developing scalable engagement strategies. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of Account Managers. Own overall health and performance of the SMB portfolio, ensuring high retention, client satisfaction, and margin protection. Identify accounts with growth potential and develop tailored engagement strategies to unlock expansion opportunities. Design, improve, and institutionalize playbooks and operating models for SMB account management. Build a deep understanding of client organizations, technology roadmaps, and long‑term needs to position the company as a strategic partner. Act as the primary escalation point for client issues, ensuring rapid resolution and internal accountability. Requirements 7+ years of experience in Account Management or Delivery. 7+ years in the tech/outsourcing sector. Experience managing a team. Availability to travel up to 20 % of the time.
