Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Company DescriptionAt Nielsen, we are passionate about our work to power a better media future for all people by providing powerful insights that drive client decisions and deliver extraordinary results.Our talented, global workforce is dedicated to capturing audience engagement with content – wherever and whenever it's consumed.Together, we are proudly rooted in our deep legacy as we stand at the forefront of the media revolution.When you join Nielsen, you will join a dynamic team committed to excellence, perseverance, and the ambition to make an impact together.We champion you, because when you succeed, we do too.We enable your best to power our future.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our Design and Communications team.This role is crucial for streamlining the creative workflow, managing the production of all print and digital assets, and ensuring the final products meet the highest quality and brand standards.The ideal candidate has a strong background in production coordination, exceptional project management skills, and a solid technical understanding of both print and digital production processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple design projects simultaneously, track job orders, oversee project workflows, and ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.Collaborate with designers, copy writers, product and operational leaders, developers, and subject matter experts to meet creative objectives and production schedules.Oversee the preparation of final production files for both print and digital use.Ensure files meet specific technical requirements, including pre-press, printing processes, file formats, and print specifications (e.G., dielines, bleeds, trims).Coordinate the design and production of all print and digital publications.Liaise extensively with external vendors, such as printers and freelancers, to communicate technical specifications, review proofs, and ensure the final product meets quality standards and timelines.Enforce brand guidelines, maintain visual style guides across all projects, and ensure brand consistency across all deliverables.Maintain a keen eye for detail for quality control, proofreading, and technical accuracy.Provide support to the Manager and look for continuous improvements for speed and efficiencies within workflows.QualificationsRequired Skills and QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).4+ years of professional experience in a production, coordinator, or related role.Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).Strong technical expertise and proven understanding of pre-press, printing processes, and file preparation for print, digital, and email media.Familiarity with asset management tools (e.G., Robohead, Trello, DAM systems).Expert proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.Working knowledge of file transfer protocols and asset management systems.Attention to and knowledge of trademark, copyright, and accessibility standards.Fluent in English.Soft Skills / AttributesExceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with designers, production teams, and external vendors.A keen eye for detail is crucial for quality control and technical specifications.Ability to prioritize jobs, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with project management or asset management tools (e.G., Robohead, Trello, DAM systems).Experience designing survey, letter, and brochure templates.Additional InformationPlease be aware that job-seekers may be at risk of targeting by scammers seeking personal data or money.Nielsen recruiters will only contact you through official job boards, LinkedIn, or email with a @nielsen.Com domain.Be cautious of any outreach claiming to be from Nielsen via other messaging platforms or personal email addresses.Always verify that email communications come from an @nielsen.Com address.If you're unsure about the authenticity of a job offer or communication, please contact Nielsen directly through our official website or verified social media channels.Senior level Not Applicable; Employment type Full-time; Job function Writing / Editing; Industries Broadcast Media Production and Distribution.#J-*****-Ljbffr
