**POSITION'S MISSION**Executing M&A transactions across geographies worldwide, assessing business development opportunities, portfolio rebalancing, support strategic planning analysis and internal consulting projects.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Participate in M&A transactions by developing valuation models (DCF, multiples, etc.) and evaluating transaction investment metrics.- Assess business development opportunities in CEMEX and non-CEMEX markets and geographies.- Participate in (and potentially lead) work streams of internal consulting projects for CEMEX worldwide across our 4 core businesses (cement, ready-mix, aggregates and Urbanization Solutions).- Analyze market conditions, competitive dynamics, and industry performance to identify opportunities which would improve CEMEX's positioning as a leader in the building materials industry.- Engage and coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders including external advisors.- Prepare materials and present recommendations for top management meetings, including Board of Directors, Corporate Practices Committee, Executive Committee, and other events- Work and coordinate with corporate staff and regional operational areas, including finance, legal, tax, accounting, sustainability, operations and technical, R&D, among others- Coordinate with external entities, including banks, consultants, counsels among others- Develop junior members of the team.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**- Master's degree or equivalent desired, but not mandatory.- 5 years of work experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, Finance, Corporate Planning, Business Development, Innovation, or equivalent experience- Advanced English required (C1/C2 or TOEFL/IELTS equivalent)- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint**Pursuing Excellence**:Strong business acumen, executive presentation skills, structured critical thinker, attentive to detail while keeping the big picture in sight**Working as One CEMEX**:Team player, results driven.Thrives in a multicultural, high-pressure environment**Acting with Integrity**:Always conducts oneself with integrity and honesty, leads by example**; **Able to manage highly confidential information**Focusing on Customers**:Ability to mediate and reach consensus in complex meetings with multiple stakeholders**Ensuring Safety**:Ensuring safety and health is a top priority for all members of the team
