Position Overview:

We're seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties. If you've managed properties remotely before whether it's long-term rentals, short-term vacation homes, or Airbnbs we want to hear from you This role involves managing tenant relationships, coordinating maintenance, handling finances, and ensuring smooth property operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for tenants and property owners.
  • Respond to questions and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Keep tenants informed and maintain positive relationships.

Maintenance Coordination:

  • Manage maintenance requests and inspections.
  • Schedule repairs with local vendors and track progress.
  • Ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Collect rent and manage financial transactions.
  • Provide regular financial updates to property owners.
  • Help with budgeting and tracking income and expenses.

Leasing & Tenant Screening:

  • Market available properties and handle tenant applications.
  • Screen tenants and draft lease agreements.
  • Coordinate virtual property showings.

Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple properties.
  • Ensure properties meet rental laws and regulations.
  • Advise property owners on compliance requirements.

Technology & Efficiency:

  • Use property management software like Buildium, AppFolio, or Yardi to track rent, leases, and maintenance.
  • Automate processes using tools like Zapier to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in property management (Airbnb or rental management counts).
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Experience with property management software (e.g., Buildium, AppFolio, Yardi).
  • Understanding of rental laws and compliance requirements.
  • Good with numbers, budgeting, rent collection, and financial reports.
  • Problem-solver with the ability to manage maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple properties remotely.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with maintenance coordination and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of local and federal rental laws.
  • Experience leading teams and creating operating procedures.
  • Only candidates who achieve an 80% or higher score on the assessment will be considered.
