Travel Sales Consultant

The Travel Sales Consultant is responsible to produce outgoing calls to market product and services to members, maintaining thorough understanding of brand products and services, processes sales and meets and exceeds sales goals. The Sales Vacation Consultant is given a list of potential customers or previous travelers. They follow a call script and certain guidelines to assist in introducing and selling the product or service, always attempting to close the sale.
The Travel Sales Consultant assist existing memberships and establishes new reservations by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales leads. Will also create a pipeline to follow up with his prospects to close sales.
The agent is also responsible for and not limited to:
- Focuses on productivity while calling from Live Vox Platform.
- Adhere to resorts preferred partner restrictions.
- Presents, promotes, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and future members.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential members to meet their needs.
- Answers questions about product specifications and pricing.
- Upsells members to larger products, more extensive packages, and/or higher priced services.
- Establishes, develops, and maintain positive business and member relationships.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Expedite the resolution of customer queries and complaints to maximize member’s satisfaction through maintaining excellent customer service.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
- Accurately and efficiently enters members information into company databases for booking purposes, avoiding any profit loss.
- Processes credit card payments and troubleshoots any issues that may arise.
***Earning potential**:
- Commissions up to $28,000 (Top Performer)
- $15,000/a month base salary.

**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of relevant sales experience.
- Verifiable track record of success in a sales role.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to make 50-100 outbound calls per day.
- Comfortable making outbound and taking inbound member calls.
- Communication skills to help explain the products and services to the members.
- Ability to be successful in a performance, commission and bonus driven environment.
- Passion to help members, co-workers and growth of the company.
