The **Technical Consumer Research (TCR) Jr. Manager** **will design and influence the adoption of appropriate sensory and consumer science to ensure our product portfolio for LATAM are winning solutions in the market, partnering with Marketing Category, Human Insights, and RD&I (Research, Development and Innovation) teams to develop and execute robust Sensory & Consumer research protocols across the organization and support RD&I LATAM Operating Unit.

**What You’ll Do for Us**

This role is responsible for designing and executing:
1) Drive projects thought appropriate consumer and sensory learning plans utilizing various qualitative and quantitative methodologies with close collaboration in defining research brief, methodology approach, questionnaire design, vendor audit on product and package;
2) Support pro-active and re-active projects across countries with a world-class innovative perspective and meeting critical timelines;
3) Impulse to build superior experience product as part of our TCR challenge;
4) Design experiments to identify drivers of liking for beverages and interpret statistical analysis of results of sensory & consumer testing (derive insights from experimental design and statistical insights, also conduct collaborative studies with global TCR teams.

Key areas of focus of this role can be summarized as follows:
Support Manager/Director in the management of all aspect of consumer testing & sensory research for LATAM OU

Responsible for developing and accomplish with development of protocols and project screeners /questionnaires/discussion guides, analysis, helping to create written report/presentation that provide insights and recommendations.

Develop Sensory & consumer testing and analysis for all specific LATAM projects or initiatives (innovations, continuity, productivity, regulatory and troubleshooting).

Drive early stages of the product development process, including concept definition, prototyping and product testing.

Establish strong connectivity with LATAM OU Human Insights and Marketing Category teams.

Leverage project management routines to communicate and deliver global / regional / local TCR projects.

Identify resourcing required to deliver global, regional, and local initiatives.

Participate in special events or initiatives for product awareness and consumer interaction.

Actively communicate and report on sensory insights, new product development progress and productivity process;
Network with global TCR community to grow him/herself and the team.

This role communicates internally with the RD&I network, global Category Marketing OU teams, ad Global TI&SC teams. External communication with suppliers and trade associations.

Communication and engagement with multiple key stakeholders to gain agreement on the short
- and long term pipeline testing strategies for LATAM.

**Qualifications & Requirements**

**Education**:Minimum of Bachelor's Degree food science, food engineer, Food Technology, behavioral psychology or applied statistics. Advanced degree with a focus in sensory science preferred.

**Related Work Experience**:Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience within food/beverage industry;
Fluent English and Spanish Required, Portuguese is a plus.

**Mastery of (Requirements) Skills**: Sensory Science: Working knowledge of sensory and consumer testing techniques and principles; Product Portfolio management to help focus on areas of greatest opportunity; Experience interacting with, influencing and providing guidance to business partners and cross functional peers; Data Analytics Mindset; Database System: Working Knowledge and use of standard sensory and statistical software such as Compusense® and XLSTAT or SAS; Product Development: Working knowledge of the product development process with the ability to contribute knowledge in development lab-scale sample creation and standard beverage processing conditions. Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Demonstrates strong working knowledge of quantitative/ qualitative research which involves the design and implementation of sensory and consumer research studies, including creation of the research design, implementation and data gathering, data analysis, interpretation, implications, and next steps.
