The Financial Analyst will be part of the Finance team team supporting the Global Business Consulting and Solutions organization.
The Finance group provides decision support and analytics to key business partners to drive improved financial performance. The Finance Analyst will be involved in a variety of activities serving the interests of GBC&S. This will entail producing and analyzing Meetings monthly results, supporting planning & forecasting processes, preparing and processing journal entries as well as providing strategic analytics and decision support to further grow revenue, control cost and improve margins
This individual will be responsible for providing high-profile business analysis and financial decision support the Global Business Consulting and Solutions business described above. This will involve/require;
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Strong financial analysis skills, including data sourcing and the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Strong communication skills/ability to empathize with the market /product teams
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Continually assess processes to determine where improvements can be made
- Liaison with HQ Finance and Market Teams
- Cost benefit analysis and business case justification
- Target-setting and tracking against milestones
- Well-developed analytical and strategic thinking skills. Self-starter with ability to drive results. Strong modeling skills, excel capabilities. Capable of providing thought leadership in respect of potential process improvement. Must be a team player, but have an ability to influence others without formal authority. Essential to forge strong relationships within the market finance teams and the business. Must be able to manage projects independently and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
