The Reverse Logistics Operations Manager works within the Service Logistics Organization
at Arista, and plays a key role in enabling the success of Arista’s post-sales Support offerings, which includes Warranty, Same Day and Next Business Day delivery of critical spare parts to Arista’s end customers.

The Service Logistics Organization within Arista is responsible for Arista’s Service Supply
Chain, including Arista’s global network of service depots, planning of spare parts inventory,
stocking of spare parts globally, import / export of spare parts, rapid delivery of hardware
replacements to end customers, asset recovery, reverse logistics of RMA returns from
customers, and the repair and reuse of customer-returned inventory - all areas integrated end to end to deliver the best in class operations and service to our customers.

Working within Arista’s Global Service Operations team, and working closely with Arista’s
Logistics, Service Planning, Finance, Trade Compliance, and Repair Operations teams, the
Reverse Logistics Operations Manager must ensure that Arista is retrieving, with optimal
cost, time and quality, our assets from the field as a top priority. With this role, the individual
will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, development, and long-term strategy of
Arista’s Global Asset Recovery and Reverse Logistics. The role is focused on the daily
execution of existing vendors; maintaining and building relationships with existing and future
vendors; developing new strategies with our customers and partners, negotiating and
executing balance score card and performance with vendors, developing environmental and
recycling initiatives, improving the process lifecycle and driving continuous improvement and
scalability across vendors to support Arista’s evolving requirements for optimization.

**Job Description**:

- Manage Arista’s global network customers asset retrieval, ensuring cost, time and quality of service goals are achieved.
- Drive vendors to achieve Key Performance Indicators, including Asset Recovery, leadtime, Dock to Stock, Warehouse Disposition, Turn Around Time, Defective Inventory reporting and cost reduction.
- Develop a collection program to allow Customer returning their defective gears in an efficient, easy, fast, cost effective method to our depot locations. Liaise with Import/Export Compliance, Product Compliance and Logistics teams to enable global import, export, and stocking capabilities to our Repair and Failure Analysis locations.
- Implement a reverse logistics warehouse disposition programs to execute Temporary Export for Repair, Temporary Inbound, China Tariff Reduction, Screen and Clean, Failure Analysis, Pullback and Purges Globally.
- Manage spend with third party logistics and transportation partners. Drive cost reduction strategies and build a culture of long-term savings on operational costs.
- Develop scalable processes to support the evolving needs within Arista’s service spare parts business model. Enable long term growth of related operations.
- Share responsibility with Vendor Manager and Repair Managers to Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms and conditions of Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Statements of Work (SOW) with service supply chain partners
- Develop and implement consolidated executive review process to streamline operational metrics
- Train, coach and mentor other team members to perform their best with assigned work. Create a positive work environment. Align team on objectives and monitor performance.
- Drive implementation of initiatives for the department that are aligned to corporate objectives
- Develop and implement procedures, operating manuals, and balanced scorecards for Asset Recovery and Reverse Logistics vendors.
- Continuously assess vendor capabilities, financial solvency, product/service quality & pricing.
- Identify areas for corrective/preventative actions and opportunities to improve services and productivity.
- Work with finance to track, manage and forecast vendor budget and spend, routinely reporting and presenting internally to Arista stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Five to ten (5-10) years of experience managing Reverse Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Partners or similar experience
- Knowledge of overall supply chain concepts - including inventory planning, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and logistics
- Experience in the high-tech industry (preferably networking equipment)
- Self-starter who has the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Holistic understanding of organizational goals and how they impact the operation of the business. Must have experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.
