**About the role**:
**This role is the primary focal point for day-to-day activity and operations for CGI Plan. Responsible to recruit, enable, activate, and grow the reseller community in accordance IBM Software plan expectations and goals.**
**What you'll do**:
- Understand IBM Software strategy, value proposition, programs and rebates.
- Primary focal point for day-to-day activity and operations for CGI Plan (Common Gateway Interface).
- Responsible for build, track and the overall execution of the CGI Program.
- Conducting and executing effective internal and external business planning workshops, within the Resellers or Partners.
- Responsible for the mission to recruit, enable, activate, and grow the reseller community in accordance CGI plan expectations and goals.
- Build and track the partner plan and Rally plan.
- Drive sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification and on-boarding and other business development initiatives in order to optimize results
- Leading the execution of the business activities with their Resellers.
- Building and developing new markets strategies in order to improving IBM Software sales.
- Plan and execute demand generation activities with their Partners.
- Responsible for working together with the IBM team in Mexico.
- Responsible for working together with the local TDSynnex VDM team (IBM) in Mexico.
- Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share
- Successful negotiation and winning of key tenders and large deals.
- Responsible for increasing both customer loyalty and profitability
**What we're looking for**:
- 5+ years' experience in a commercial/technical role for vendors like IBM, Oracle, AWS, etc.
- 3 years' experience as Sales Consultant or Product Specialist.
- Experience with recruitment and development of the resellers/partners community.
- Experience with design and execution of business development plan.
- Knowledge of IT trends such as Cloud and Microservices.
- Deep understanding of IBM Software offering.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of Industry trends.
