**About the team**:
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
About the role
The Head of Agency Sales, is responsible for developing strategy and driving revenue for a team of individual contributors. They will report into the General Manager, Mexico and serve as the advocate for their agencies both internally and externally. They will grow and develop Agency Partnerships Managers to become strategic advisors to their clients. Success in this role requires a focus on people management, project and relationship management, client education, campaign measurement, and the ability to tell a strong story that shows TikTok's ability to drive client objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Craft overall strategy to deliver on revenue targets and steer the team to increased growth potential
- Prioritize sales narratives that address the needs of the agencies
- Deep understanding of product to drive enhancements to unlock revenue
- Bring a consultative approach that will align around a customer first methodology
- Provide thought-leadership and mentorship to your team on overall account planning
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of key vertical market trends and customer opportunities
- Ensure that our agency partners receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
- Develop, mentor and manage a team of individual contributors
**Qualifications**:
**Minimun Qualifications**:
1. Solid experience in marketing, brand advertising, media sales, and/or online advertising, with a proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals.
2. Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performance teams in a highly rapidly changing environment.
3. Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing, including experience in media planning, creative development, and communication and sales strategy.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Passion for TikTok marketing and readiness to tackle the challenge of building something from the ground up.
6. Advanced english skills.
**Preferable Qualifications**:
1. Real understanding of negotiations between media platforms and agencies, as well as strong relationships within the agency industry.
2. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in challenging situations, coupled with experience leading cross-functional teams and taking a hands-on approach to leadership.
3. Proficiency in data and numerical analysis.
