**Job title**: IPP Business Development Manager
**Location**: Mexico City, Mexico (On-site)
The Green Recruitment Company is searching for a Business Development Manager to join a leading IPP to join their team in Mexico City.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the development of projects, including land acquisition, site selection, preliminary design and DA processes.
- Identify potential development sites and manage feasibility analysis and due diligence to identify environmental, network connectivity, and land constraints.
- Originate new projects and progress the development of our Client's portfolio through a structured project plan.
- Coordinate development approvals and EPBC and oversee land acquisition for new projects.
- Provide regular progress reports against project plans, reporting to project stakeholders and executive management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal project teams, external stakeholders, and the local community.
**Requirements**:
- Plus years in a Development role within the utility-scale renewable energy sector.
- Experience managing large-scale Solar projects in Australia from conception through to approvals.
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience managing and developing project teams.
- Ability to identify and manage risks associated with renewable energy projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership and building strong working relationships.
- Ability to manage project timelines, budgets and work in a fast paced environment.
- Fluent English.
