**Contexto**
El Comité Internacional de Rescate (IRC) responde a las peores crisis humanitarias del mundo y ayuda a las personas a sobrevivir y reconstruir sus vidas. Fundado en 1933 a pedido de Albert Einstein, el IRC ofrece atención para salvar vidas y asistencia que cambia vidas a las personas refugiadas obligados a huir de la guerra o el desastre. En el trabajo de hoy en más de 40 países y 22 ciudades de EE. UU., restauramos la seguridad, la dignidad y la esperanza a millones de personas desarraigadas y que luchan por sobrevivir. El IRC lidera el camino del daño al hogar.

**Alcances/descripción del puesto**
El o la psicóloga que se desempeña dentro del Comité Internacional de Rescate en la localidad de Tenosique, Tabasco, deberá atender personas en tránsito de diferentes nacionalidades y/o en situación de vulnerabilidad, brindando atención psicológica individual y/o grupal de acuerdo con la necesidad y ateniéndose a los más altos estándares tanto éticos como profesionales y científicos en la materia. Utilizando técnicas cuya efectividad haya sido probada para el tipo de población y contexto a quien va dirigido el servicio.
Así mismo, también debe tener una alta capacidad de empatía y sentido de colaboración para trabajar en equipo con sus colegas de programa en la planeación, ejecución y reporte de actividades conjuntas, así como tener una actitud colaborativa hacia las demás actividades propias del programa de salud mental.

**Principales responsabilidades**
- Adherirse a las mejores prácticas reconocidas internacionalmente para las intervenciones psicológicas basadas en la evidencia y la gestión de los clientes con problemas de salud mental. Esto incluye garantizar la confidencialidad de los clientes y respetar sus decisiones.
- Evaluar las necesidades del cliente o clienta y las quejas que presenta y desarrollar un plan de atención basado en esas necesidades, incluyendo la derivación a otros servicios.
- Proporcionar asesoramiento psicológico individual, culturalmente adecuado, a la población de riesgo, incluidos, entre otros, los supervivientes de la tortura, los solicitantes de asilo y los menores no acompañados.
- Llevar a cabo sesiones de seguimiento según sea necesario y decidir con el cliente cuándo cerrar el caso.
- Identificar las preocupaciones relacionadas con los protocolos de derivación y los principios rectores de la violencia de género y la protección de los niños, y apoyar su cumplimiento, y plantear estas preocupaciones al gerente de MHPSS.
- Mantener una relación de trabajo eficaz y una comunicación regular con otros psicólogos que trabajen en el mismo proyecto, así como las partes interesadas pertinentes, incluidas las organizaciones de referencia, los grupos comunitarios y otros socios de ejecución.
- Completar los informes diarios de los casos y la recopilación de datos de acuerdo con la orientación proporcionada por el Oficial Senior de MHPSS, el Gerente de MHPSS y el Asesor Técnico de Salud Mental.
- Colaborar estrechamente con el Trabajador Social de salud mental para garantizar la derivación adecuada de los clientes a otros servicios (de protección, médicos, jurídicos).
- Respeto a los derechos de las personas que asistan a cualquiera de los servicios que provee el servicio de psicología de IRC.
- Aplicar técnicas y teorías de corte científico, basadas en evidencias y que protejan la dignidad y los derechos de las personas que asistan a cualquiera de los servicios de SMAPS de IRC.
- Aplicar Primeros Auxilios Psicológicos cuando la condición emocional de la persona lo amerite.
- Proporcionar información a los grupos destinatarios sobre los servicios multisectoriales disponibles y los medios de acceso.
- Participar en las formaciones técnicas proporcionadas por el IRC y en las sesiones continuas de apoyo a las habilidades técnicas en materia de protección, habilidades de asesoramiento y trauma.
- Apoyar la realización de las actividades de intervención psicoeducativa.
- Difundir los servicios de SMAPS cuando exista oportunidad.
