**Role & Responsibilities**

**Management**:

- First point of contact on-site and in Mexico
- Take part in heavy senior leader interaction via video conference or voice call; as such, maintain a highly proficient ability to speak and write English
- Report all issues to RRC (Roboroots Canada)
- Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
- Provide daily updates to RRC by answering all numbered tasks in Slack channel “Mexico-meetings”
- Relay information from RRC to workers
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all related SOPs
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, contracts, internal memos and status reports, such as tracking expenditures, analyzing KPIs and variances, and recommending corrective actions
- When creating a new report, ask HQ for feedback on the rough draft before completion to focus on value creation
- Support staff communication with the management team
- Answer team member questions, help with team member problems, and oversee team member work for quality
- Run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
- Inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives
- Monitor compliance with laws and regulations
- Perform general administrative support duties, such as: mailing, copies, printing, maintaining office equipment and space planning

**Supply (with Administrator)**:

- Manage inventories and stock by conducting physical counts, reconciling with the "Inventory Master List", and advising management on ordering when necessary
- Make suggestions for supply improvements; develop appropriate supply chain strategy (with KPIs) to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost
- Ensure company brand materials, facility equipment, and physical working space meet company standards
- Inspect equipment; issue requests for work orders to repair any damages
- Continuously develop and maintain relationships with local vendors
- Notify the team when a supply order is required
- Complete local supply orders on time
- Review/verify incoming art files for distribution to suppliers
- Report any discrepancies with supply orders
- **Operations/Production (with Production Supervisors)**:

- Schedule production from RRC with Production Supervisors
- Oversee machine operators
- Maintain strong, consistent machine efficiency, and report variances promptly
- Report on production performance using data from Batch Records
- Track production-related statistics and use that data to make formal reports
- Monitor KPIs, such as production level averages and machine efficiency, and report variances promptly
- Make suggestions for productivity improvements
- Manage/reduce waste

**Shipping and Receiving (with Shipping Supervisor)**:

- Review and communicate timeliness of scheduled deliveries
- Receive incoming shipments (ensure contents and condition), following all related SOPs
- Report any discrepancies with incoming shipments

**Human Resources (with Production Supervisors, Administrator and Recruiter)**:

- Assist with recruiting on Facebook and interviews
- Coordinate and conduct employee performance reviews, creating a timeline of employee performance with documented performance reviews
- Track and report personnel-related statistics and KPIs, such as attendance and staff turn-over rates
- Coordinate different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities
- Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
- Develop strategies to help team members meet performance goals
- Inform RRC of all disputes between employees of all levels
- Issue employee warning notices with authorization from RRC
- Develop and maintain Health and Safety manuals and protocols

**Other (with Administrator)**:

- Safeguard operations and content by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Ensure property/building are fit for use; coordinate maintenance or contract work if required (such as pest control)
- Provide enough evidence for every line item to fill a journal entry (bookkeeping)

**Requirements**:
The following requirements must be met to be considered for this position:

- Experience in Production and Operations
- Experience in Engineering considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral communication skills (Spanish/English)
- Excellent written communication skills (Spanish/English)
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to motivate and lead others
- Energetic and driven
- Ability to lift 20kg+
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work 44 hours per week with potential overtime
- Education in Management, Manufacturing and Engineering considered an asset
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Siemens TIA Portal considered an asset
