**About Oru Kayak**
We are an award-winning company on a mission to make the outdoors more accessible. Our flagship product line is a series of origami folding kayaks that transform from a portable box, into a sleek, lightweight, and high-performance watercraft. We design, manufacture, market, sell, ship kayaks directly to the end consumers (D2C) and wholesale customers (B2B) globally from Mexico, Mexicali. We are fast-moving and passionate about what we do, we work hard and play hard, and now we're looking for the right teammate to help take us to the next level.
**Position**:Customer Service Agent
**Job Overview**
A Customer Service Agent, will act as a liaison, provide product information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Listen to customers’ concerns, issues and questions
- Maintain a positive attitude and calmly respond to customers’ complaints
- Attract customers by promoting the product and company positively, answering questions and addressing concerns as they arise
- Recommend possible products to meet the customers’ needs
- Refer issues and questions to managers when necessary
- Prepare product and customer reports by gathering data collected during customer interactions
- Help customers with their warranty, replacement or return claims needs and report them, Processing customer refunds.
- Handle and gather confidential information
- Processing orders
- Quoting orders
- Feel comfortable handling video calls to help certain customers with step by step assembly assistance.
**Experience**
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
