About the position

**Position name**: Area Sales Manager Mexico - On site

**Reporting to**: Commercial Director, Mexico

**Location/Travel**: CDMX; Travel as required

Compensation
$4,200 - $ 4,800 (month) - Negotiable depending on experience
Benefits package + Medical Insurance + Annual Performance bonus plan (25% - 30% salary)

Overview

A global leader in cutting-edge optical design, manufacturing, and image-processing technology, is looking for an Area Sales Manager in Mexico who can deliver on customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.

Core Responsibilities

Execute, align and reinforce Companys commercial Partner Program.

Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets for Mexico Region

Assist in Development and execution of strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

Manage proactively sales team, and provide weekly sales forecast

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives

Manage commercial sales team in pipeline development, sales development, and closing

Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

Understand category-specific landscapes and trends

Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of Proven Experience and credibility in Technology

Proven sales management experience, meeting or exceeding targets

Previous experience as a sales executive or sales manager

Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services

Proven ability to position products against competitors

Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable

solutions

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

BA/BS degree or equivalent

Bilingual, English and Spanish

Comfortable presenting in person or virtually

The ability to convey excitement and energy in virtual and recorded sessions

Energetic and self-motivated individual with a strong initiative to learn and teach
