Purpose Statement (2-3 Sentences):

- Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position_:
Build, deliver & give follow up to training and development programs for In-Field personnel aligned with brands strategy focusing on product, sales knowledge and sales skills in order to deliver on AbbVie’s business priorities.

Focus on field training for sales consultants.

Work within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

Major Responsibilities:

- List up to 10 main responsibilities for the job. Include information about the accountability and scope._
- Work with Brand, Medical, AMI and In-Field Teams to identify Sales force training needs and training outcomes that will support Brand plan execution
- Design, agree, deliver and evaluate training strategy and all training courses for the Sales team, including inductions for new staff, launchings and national meetings
- Attend local & international sales conferences and run workshops when required
- Ideally 40% time: Coach Field Sales team in their territory, providing formal and constructive feedback
- Contribute to Cross team initiatives, trough workshops and other in-person or virtual facilitation sessions
- Work with affiliate leaders to develop and deliver training identified
- Develop and deliver content locally in response to local needs within the global framework by using innovation tools and models

Qualifications:

- List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills and experience._
- Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent
- Track record of success as sales representative and ideally sales manager or some training rol
- Solid training & communication skills (Formal Training Needs Analysis & Solutions) paired with strong coaching and counselling skills
- Strong facilitation skills, including providing constructive feedback / interpersonal skills / coaching skills /sensitive to people’s needs / deal with people at different levels and functions
- Presents/breaks down information and clearly communicates scientific information and data
- Track record of success in delivering results and meeting customer expectations - in a teamwok environment
- Must demonstrate innovative and creative mindset in a proactive rol
- Accountability, able to plan and manage training projects, and possess the drive to see projects through to completion.
