**Core Responsibilities**

Champion the Employee Play Engagement (EPE) program at The LEGO Group at the Monterrey Factory (LOM) by ensuring global initiatives are customized, innovated, extended and implemented with the highest quality and impact on employees and children

The EPE program contains a wide range of initiatives that aim to equip employees and charity partners with the skills and confidence to inject learning through play into their work, home and local communities including:

- ** Become a** **Play** **Agent** **Hero and lead the team at LOM**:A LEGO Play Agent is someone who understands the transformational properties of learning through play and uses it within daily activities for children and adults. You will be trained to facilitate workshops to inspire employees, partners and children, so they may become Play Agents and continue to spread the gospel of play. You will also lead the team of other Play Agent Heroes (volunteers) to keep them engaged, motivated and leading sessions.
- ** Play Day** **LOM**: Customize and implement the Play Day plan for 5,000+ employees including establishing a committee to drive execution, developing an internal communications plan, delivering pre-activities and events to achieve results-driven participation targets and much more. Playday is customarily in June.
- Lead administration of the program tracking employee participation in play programs and reporting numbers to global.
- Partner with People Operations & Development team to ensure new hires complete Play sessions during onboarding and are passionate about learning through play and volunteering.
- Develop internal, factory-wide communications plan in partnership with the Communications team and implement for high awareness of play programs.
- Provide formative feedback to global and LEGO Foundation teams to improve program year on year.

**Develop, plan, and lead the execution of Local **Community** Engagement** (LCE)** at LOM - including volunteering, relevant fundraising and events and other community initiatives to ensure high engagement and quality**:

- Volunteering: Engage current and build new local community partnerships, create and implement annual engagement plan to increase employee volunteering aligned with global program objectives and in partnership with LCE colleague. This will include, development of robust internal communication plan, alignment with key partners to ensure support, agreement and more.
- Develop specific physical and digital concepts and customize global concepts to ensure cultural relevance. Provide ongoing insights for global replication and concept improvement.
- Lead execution of other key engagement events as needed.
- Lead program administration including SharePoint registration tools and reporting, budget management and other reporting to meet standards set by PwC.

This individual will help the team amplify our already outstanding LOM Local Community Engagement program. We aim to reach 10 million children with our social responsibility programs in 2023 and this is only the start

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field
- Ability to design programs based on high level objectives
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work with people at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate and train others
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to build high-quality reports and deliver compelling presentations to small and large groups
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required for administration and financial record keeping.
- Entrepreneurial approach and ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects independently.
- Passion for people and children
- Experience in the field of education or training preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- National and international travel up to 8 days/year
