**Brief Summary of Position**

**Brief Summary of Position**

Reports to the GM Mexico to achieve critical, strategic and tactical outcomes in the maintenance and improvement of the systems, processes that deliver products and services on-time and in full to our internal and external customers as well as to collaborate to define the best strategies for the country, by business unit and product to maximize our short and long term opportunities. The role also works on operations-management and the integration of global staff and local operations including Global, Regional and Local Marketing, Research & Development, manufacturing, Regulatory, Learning & Development, communication, compliance etc. in order to achieve near and long-term objectives.

**Primary activities and responsibilities**:

- Establishes and monitors KPI’s to benchmark operational performance, results and profit targets.
- Coordinates and follows up the key actions/top priorities defined annually between the different support areas.
- Lead the regional Learning & Development, coordinates our company University assuring that in all levels we have the best trained professionals in this industry creating a competitive advantage for the company.
- Leads the Marketing Intelligence, Analytics and Strategy area guaranteeing the supply of market data, market research and business intelligence, implementation and follow-up of the 5 years strategic plan.
- Leads the Sales Force Effectiveness and Digital Marketing Area asssuring the implementation and effectiveness, correct segmentation of customers, maximization of the efficiency of sales territories. As well as the initiatives in Multi-Channel Marketing.
- Interaction between species Business Managers, stimulating the dissemination of best practices.
- Develops and maintains high-quality liaisons between all internal and external stakeholders to assure business continuity. Cultivates key business contacts across the company to ensure clear understanding needs and expectations.
- Conducts Business Reviews regularly with the Business Units in agreement with the GM, ensuring a continuous follow-up of the actions agreed in the Plan Review and collaborating to ensure the committed results.
- Continuously monitors the potential financial impact of significant events and develops comprehensive action plans to effectively redress any negative impact to the achievement of the annual business plan.
- Reinforces our commitment to ensure full compliance with all Company policies as well as applicable local government regulations while maintaining a work environment that promotes and fosters our ways of working. Acts and performs as a role model ensuring full compliance with country regulatory laws and regulations and performs assigned functions with the utmost integrity.
- Develop strategies to gain market share in the participated segments through market expansion, penetration and portfolio enhancement.
- Assist in establishing, and coordinating the marketing objectives, policies and programs within the context of the overall Division plan.
- Review budgets, reports and forecasts and ensure they are presented in a timely and credible manner.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and the efficiency of staff and procedures. Coordinate direct reports to optimize the use of resources to achieve goals.
- Effectively coordinate with Business Operations team to ensure high level customer satisfaction, trade budget and planning.
- Assist in the development of initiatives such as new products, new marketing techniques, new promotional campaigns and the dropping of unprofitable products.
- Ensure Distributors alignment and deployment of company standards.
- Make an effective decision based on market changes & competitor activities when necessary.
- Provide leadership to the ethical sales team through sales incentives and targets, learning and development.
- Provide guidance to the ethical sales teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through the appropriate allocation of sales territories and through strategic contact with key customers, associations and government representatives.
- People management e.g. recruitment, retention, performance reviews, development plans, on the job training.
- Support and sustain business excellence standards.
- Effectively communicate both upward & downward.
