Travel Sales Specialist

The Travel Sales Representative is responsible for making outgoing calls to market products and services to members. An amazing opportunity to build a career and develop a thorough understanding of brand products and services, sell vacations and exceed sales goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential members to meet their needs.
- Reach out to customer leads through our customer management system
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective members
- Answers questions about product specifications and pricing
- Upsells members to larger products, more extensive packages, and/or higher priced services
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and member relationships
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize member’s satisfaction through maintaining excellent customer service.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Accurately and efficiently enters members information into company databases for booking purposes, avoiding any profit loss.
- Processes credit card payments and troubleshoots any issues that may arise
- Maintains a list of potential leads and follows up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches through a pipeline list
**Compensation**:
- Base Salary $15,000 MXN per month + unlimited earning potential
- Top Performer - $15,000 MXN per month in commissions
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years successful sales experience in high volume environment is preferred
- Sales experience in the travel industry is preferred
- This sales position requires enhanced sales skills and follow-through when assisting customers to achieve preset sales quotas and performance standards
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite specifically: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with other proprietary database software
- English proficiency
