**Purpose of the Job**:
will be responsible for building relationships and profitable sales growth within the Mexico region focused on Original Equipment Manufacturers They will achieve this goal by driving sales of a portfolio of wire and cable products, services, and engineered solutions in support of the Southwire IWC Business Unit’s multi-year growth initiatives. This individual will be responsible for managing their sales territory and working closely with the agent sales force and direct customers.
**Key responsabilities**:
- Strategically develop customer targets and plan to execute sales goals via agent sales force or direct customers.
- Build effective customer relationships with OEM’s, focused distributors, and end
- users within the assigned sales territory.
- Provide market intelligence as necessary to position Southwire for growth and profit opportunities including but not limited to assessing market size.
- Identify sales opportunities to “Drive Mix” with new customers, products, or services.
- Proactively manage all aspects of territory
- Create a solution driven, leadership internally and externally while collaborating with other functions
- Collaborate with inside sales, product management, operations and other teams to prioritize customer needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by sales leadership.
**Requirements**:
**Education**: Electrical engineer or similar
**Experience**: +5 years electrical sales
**Field expertise**: Sales, previous experience in LATAM market, excellent communication skills
**Language**: Advanced English
**Have a valid Visa**
**travel internationally**
**Work modality**:Hybrid (2-3 days a week On Site)
