**We are looking for an energetic **Regional Sales Manager **to join our amazing team at Boston Scientific Corporation in Monterrey.**
Position based in **Monterrey**, responsible for the territory in the Pacific and nearby cities (Chihuahua, Tijuana, Hermosillo, BC) / Willingness to travel 1-2 overnights a week
**Purpose Statement**
Work in line with corporate, regional and/or country sales strategies to plan, schedule and execute sales tactics in securing BSC product positioning, market penetration, training, and forecasting against market and sales plans. Reference marketing intelligence and research to properly strategize with sales team to capture and broaden BSC's market share. Aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning and people management.
**What we are looking for in you**:
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant business experience, at least 3 years direct sales experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Documented sales success
- Trainings on People management, Business, Marketing
- High skills in data analysis, people management and business administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical, planning and negotiation skills, as well as strategic thinking.
- High degree of initiative and creativity with the ability to meet deadlines and work with mínimal supervision
- Coordinates with the back-office team (Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance etc.) to resolve customer and sales team requests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree MBA
- Medical device experience and/or urology/endoscopy experience
- Sales management experience
- Experience with hospitals and in-office selling
- Ability to present value proposition incorporating both financial and clinical impacts
- Selling disruptive technologies
- Consultative based selling
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and develop your assigned territory: Executes territory sales plans and strategy in line with the Business Unit Strategy to maintain and develop existing and acquire new customers.
- Develop and implement the sales strategy in the north of Mexico, this position requires 50% to 60% of travel.
- Develop and deepen key customer relationships: Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Build strong business relations between KOL´s KDM´s and Channel partners to develop new business opportunities and create “patient centric” concept.
- Industry Knowledge: Responsible for providing continuous tools and education to group members to ensure up to date industry, competitor and product knowledge; Maintains knowledge of the industry and the competition continually seeking information from physicians, suppliers, and others to challenge, modify and prioritize regional strategies; Collects data from their region on competitor's sales tactics and prepares their team to counter them and keeps the marketing organization aware; Maintains awareness of industry trends and their impact on local/regional sales activities.
- Business Management: Monitors region sales performance on an ongoing basis, initiating corrective actions, preparing reports, summaries, analysis and documentation on all aspects of region management; Assists sales support/marketing staff members in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and executing special projects; Ensures the effective implementation of representative customer records, key contacts, reports and company policies; Develops and executes sales strategies and activities in conjunction with the Country Sales Manager; Plans and controls expenses to ensure sales objectives are met within budget; Integrates individual territory plans and account profiles into a broader regional sales plan and coaches sales team accordingly, in consultation with the Country Sales Manager; Prepares quarterly regional sales forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential and sales expense estimates.
