**Position Summary/**
This position is Remote.
Credit and Collections Assistant will be responsible of monitoring, tracking, and collecting on-time payments from customers as well as gathering the requirements for business credit from new and existing customers. The position will report to the Credits and Collections Supervisor.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Request on-time payments to assigned customers
- Monitor past due customers and follow up with reminders, account statements and invoices
- Take proactive actions to communicate with Sales Representatives and request pending credit notes
- Review and ensure that proof of sales and proof of deliveries are signed and uploaded in the system
- Request and verify Business credit references for new and existing customers
- Provide special attention to and escalate accounts and transactions with higher risks of being past due
- Timely record, sort, and file information as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Must be bilingual - English and Spanish
**Key Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or accounting is a plus.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in credits and collections or other related fields.
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft office, Outlook, and SAP preferably
- Active Listening and Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong Time Management and organization Skills
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to accuracy and detail required
