**Senior Enterprise Account Executive (Mexico City)**
Our team engages in a consultative selling approach, learns the individual needs of each customer and delivers solutions to real-world business problems. We focus on creating a positive customer experience in order to build long-standing relationships with practitioners and executives across development, IT operations, and Security.
**What You'll Do**:
- Accountable for driving all new business and logos across multiple verticals while meeting or exceeding quota goals in the Mexico and the greater Latin America region, while meeting or exceeding quota goals, leading all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, sales campaign/meetings, discovery, qualification, negotiation, path to closure, and account management.
- You'll be fundamental to the success of a growing book of business throughout Latin America
- Practice building to help teams at Fastly engage with your accounts seamlessly, to deliver the very best customer experience
- Effectively and autonomously deliver the Fastly company story, value proposition, and product demonstrations
- Work with Sales Management to prepare and lead proposals, quotes, and contracts
- Accelerate customer adoption and ensure customer happiness
- Lead all aspects of the sales cycle including: prospecting, sales campaign/meetings, negotiation, closing steps, and account management
- Use all available tools to prospect effectively while you build partnerships with relevant resellers, marketplaces, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Develop a deal framework for all deals set to close, including necessary stakeholders, results and timelines for both sides. Be able to communicate this effectively to the customer. Coordinate Eval/POC with the customer. Validate success criteria using the appropriate testing methodology
- Provide insight into the market based on first line experience, shaping the future of regional resourcing and business development
**What We're Looking For**:
- **Exceptional language skill** in both Spanish and English to be able to clearly communicate in business settings
- **5+ **years of experience** in technology (B2B, SaaS preferred) related sales or business development with an emphasis in driving new business development experience able to demonstrate development, growth, and expansion of territory.
- **Strong collaboration with Sales Engineering** and other teams in a matrixed selling organization. Experience with security technologies, content delivery network services, web analytics, website performance, cloud storage, mobile content delivery, or managed web hosting is highly utilized and desired
- **Strong business development skill** and an ability to dependably close new business. A technical sales background and a strong marketing and business development acumen enable them to drive an engagement at the CTO, CISO, and VP of Digital Experience levels, using ROI models and case studies to justify the need
- **Local experience** drive business development and leverage partnerships to scale in the Mexico City market. Must be within a commutable distance to Mexico City.
- **BA/BS degree required**, major in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS a plus
- **Domestic travel **up to 50% will be required. Ability to travel to visit customers and attend trade shows/events will be required for this position.
- **International travel** to attend major shows/events and Fastly internal events _will be required for this position._
**We'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these**:
- Experience with selling security technologies, content delivery network services, or website performance through channel partners
- Large Complex organizations with many business units
- Understanding how security plays in the marketplace
