Job Description:
Monitoring, incident detection, and resolution of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. Key responsibilities include coordinating responses to incidents, creating and maintaining operational procedures, and ensuring 24/7 coverage to minimize downtime and maintain service quality. Qualifications typically require a bachelor's degree and experience in IT operations or a similar command center role.
Key responsibilities
- Monitoring and surveillance: Continuously monitor IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, cloud) to ensure availability and performance.
- Incident management: Detect, escalate, and coordinate the resolution of incidents to minimize impact on business operations.
- Operational procedures: Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and escalation protocols.
- Communication: Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and report on performance.
- Reporting and analysis: Analyze performance metrics and incident trends to generate reports and drive continuous improvement.
- System maintenance: Perform basic system checks and assist with troubleshooting system operating problems.
