**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled **Cloud Platform Engineer** to join our team. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will design, implement, maintain, and support our growing cloud infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**

  • Implement and administer VLAN, WLAN, WAN, and cloud architecture components.
  • Establish a robust data and voice network to support IT service delivery, ensuring resilience, security, and capacity.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring appropriate recovery procedures are in place.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network and security infrastructure devices.
  • Redesign and improve the existing core network infrastructure in collaboration with Service Providers.
  • Implement processes and procedures for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support and monitoring of network components.
  • Implement and administer perimeter and internal network security systems, including Firewalls and IDS/IPS in on-premise, AWS, and GCP environments.
  • Own network administration authorities, ensuring proper access controls and permissions, and processes for obtaining access by external service providers.
  • Manage and monitor IPS/IDS, Firewalls, and other network components, engaging in security and regulatory processes, including remediation and hardening activities to ensure compliance with industry best practices and accreditation, including ISO27001.
  • Act as an escalation point from the Operations team on network issues, ensuring incident/requests are handled quickly, and networks are recoverable, monitored, and maintained to meet SLA requirements.
  • Collaborate with the SRE/DevOps team to build and transition services from Project to Operations.
  • Produce comprehensive network diagrams and documentation.
  • Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
  • Maintain the security, confidentiality, and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

**Requirements**

  • Solid knowledge of cloud networking, especially AWS and GCP cloud solutions.
  • Experience in building, interconnecting, and supporting networks into AWS Regions and Availability Zones.
