We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Associate to support our growth areas in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emerging markets, innovation, and socio-economic development, with a proven track record of success in stakeholder intelligence, investor relations, and content production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on key stakeholders and establish connections to present our work and added value to the ecosystem.
  • Manage our existing network by participating in the life of the ecosystem, both virtually and in person.
  • Organize and lead calls, emails, and meetings with relevant stakeholders to gather information about the ecosystems of interest.
  • Contribute to the publication of targeted newsletters and create appropriate content, including collaborations and data-sharing exercises with media organizations.
  • Grow within the team into a regional or critical-growth-area Director role, handling clients and internal communications, project design and execution, and content strategy.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of professional experience working in Latin America in journalism, data journalism, consulting, research, data analysis, and/or report writing.
  • Stellar communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter willing to take initiative and ownership of tasks, with a genuine interest in business, socio-economic development investment, startups, technology, and private sector development.
  • A degree related to, or demonstrable knowledge of, development economics, technology and private sector development across emerging markets, business, journalism, socio-economic development, impact evaluation, economics, and impact finance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, especially in relation to working with a team, partners, and clients.
  • Great knowledge of, and autonomy with, Google Suite, MS Office, pivot tables, data entry, and database maintenance in Excel/Google sheets.
