About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Network Service Engineer to join our Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing cloud landscapes, including public and private clouds, and ensuring the availability and security of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and manage IPSec VPN, Complex Dynamic Routing, and VXLAN products across platform areas
  • Participate in On-Call Rotation and provide excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Conduct Change Technical Validation and review Playbook/Runbook to ensure infrastructure availability and identify potential risks
  • Design and implement solutions for complex network issues and collaborate with operations engineers to develop and maintain infrastructure
  • Drive major and complex outage resolutions with a high sense of urgency and analytical thinking
  • Closely work with customers to translate their requirements into technical solutions and execute towards them
  • Manage Service and interface with Manage Service Provider as a Governance and Consultant Role
  • Collaborate with various business units and sister/brother departments to ensure global alignment and compliance with network infrastructure standards
  • Develop and maintain tools for automation of network device configurations and deployments
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, preferably in switching/routing as core competence, with additional disciplines such as load balancing and security
  • Good understanding of virtualization and SDN/OpenStack technologies, including VLAN, VxLAN, VRF, etc.
  • Experience with scripting and automation, such as Ansible, Python, Java, and Perl
  • High understanding of Hyperscalers, Cloud computing, SaaS, and hosted systems
  • Expert abilities in developing and documenting network designs and concepts
  • Basic Project Management Experience
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced and multicultural organization
  • Flexibility to work on a schedule that is convenient for our customers
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Fluent in spoken and written English is a prerequisite
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • 5+ years of work experience in the networking field
  • Certificates in the industry of the respective technology (Routing: CCNP-R&S, etc..)
  • Knowledge of OSPF/BGP, VXVLAN IPv4, IPV6, VLAN, VRRP, VARP, HSRP
  • Experience with different VPN implementations and security parameters
  • Experience with leading Firewall platforms (Cisco, Forinet, Arista, Palo Alto Network)
  • Experience with Load balancer platforms
  • Experience with Storage and Compute as part of Infrastructure ecosystems is a plus
  • Tools experiences like Spectrum, Netbrain, HPNA, AWX, and CVP
  • Basic Financial Understanding (OPEX & CAPEX)
  • Experience in Service ownership/Coordination is a plus
  • Experience with Public Cloud offerings is a plus
  • IaC Understanding and able to work in eco-system
  • Adaptable to Shift Model
