About the Role

MX001 MARSH MEXICO, AGENTE DE SEGUROS Y DE FIANZAS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Benefits Manager to join our team in Mexico City. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and assistance to clients on employee health insurance carriers, plan design features, and general factors that affect cost and plan design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex issues before clients, suppliers, and the team.
  • Ensure required plan information and materials are sent to clients in a timely manner.
  • Guide and mentor Benefit/Flex-Benefits Analysts and Managers throughout the process of gathering client census and benefit-flex plan information.
  • Explain client needs and concerns focusing on how various plan designs and recommendations address those issues.
  • Advise Managers in renewals, new business presentations, and open enrollment materials to ensure they are accurate and complete in content, compliant with company and regulatory guidelines, and reflect a professional appearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree.
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role with demonstrated sales skills.
  • Experience in brokers, consultancy, compensation & benefits.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide non-technical explanations to technical matters, and summarize and present information in a clear, concise, and accurate written and verbal format.
  • Strong knowledge of employee health insurance carriers, their strengths and weaknesses, plan design features, as well as the general factors which affect cost and plan design.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including experience creating tables, charts, graphs, pivot tables, and formulas.

  • Able to work cohesively with team members.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
  • Enthusiastic and high-energy.
  • Experience achieving challenging sales budgets.
  • Experience in the consultative process of implementing flexible benefit programs is a plus.
  • Good negotiation and consultancy sales skills.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience of managing multiple teams.
