About the Role

Birdman, a leading plant-based supplements and food company in Mexico, is seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Specialist to lead our digital presence and drive ecommerce operations in multiple countries and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketplace Management: Manage and optimize our presence on major online marketplaces such as Amazon, MercadoLibre, and Walmart, ensuring compliance with marketplace standards and overseeing promotional activities.
  • Keyword Research and SEO Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance visibility and search rankings on platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and MercadoLibre.
  • Listing Optimization: Regularly enhance product listings with a focus on detailed analytics and performance optimization to improve click-through and conversion rates.
  • Inventory and Pricing Optimization: Utilize advanced analytical tools to manage inventory effectively and implement dynamic pricing strategies that balance supply, demand, and profitability.
  • Automation and Operational Efficiency: Employ cutting-edge automation technologies to streamline processes, reduce manual efforts, and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Basket Building and Customer Lifetime Value Enhancement: Strategically increase average order value and customer lifetime value through targeted marketing strategies and data-driven customer engagement tactics.
  • Customer Service and Key Partnerships: Oversee customer service excellence and nurture strategic relationships with key partners and vendors to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Performance Monitoring, Reporting, and Collaborative Initiatives: Rigorously monitor and report on ecommerce performance, working collaboratively with internal teams to align strategies and optimize results.
Requirements
  • Academic Excellence: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field from a top-tier university, demonstrating a strong ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Tech-Savvy Ecommerce Expert: Advanced proficiency in ecommerce platforms like Shopify, and familiarity with marketplace tools (Amazon Seller Central, MercadoLibre). Skilled in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Excel for sales tracking and performance analysis.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Proven experience utilizing data to make strategic decisions that enhance marketplace performance and drive D2C sales, with the ability to turn analytics into actionable growth strategies.
  • Bilingual Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, essential for managing international marketplaces and engaging with diverse teams.
  • Resourceful & Entrepreneurial Spirit: Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, adept at using initiative to identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement changes that drive business success.

  • Advanced Marketing and SEO Skills: Deep understanding of SEO, PPC, and digital marketing tools to drive traffic and increase sales on ecommerce platforms, with experience using advanced data analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI for detailed performance reporting and decision-making.
  • Automation and Optimization Expert: Hands-on experience in automating key ecommerce processes, including pricing optimization, inventory management, and marketing campaign execution, skilled in using technology to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborative Project Leader: Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate across departments to drive business success.
