Position Overview
The Senior Media Administrator plays a crucial role in managing the internal operations of content for our streaming platform. This position is responsible for providing timely content updates, addressing operational challenges, and facilitating communication between various teams.

In this role, the Senior Media Administrator will maintain and update the 30-day Smartsheet tracker, monitor the Media Operations process across all properties, communicate content status weekly, and meticulously track Original Content Production.

Additionally, the Senior Media Administrator must possess a strong command of language, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of internal operational processes, representing our team effectively when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Content Management:

  • Gather accurate information regarding the status of original and acquired content from various operational teams, including VOD, Media Operations, Dubbing & Subtitling, Strategy, Metadata, and Artwork.
  • Track the status of components and content.
  • Report any content-related issues that require review and follow up on resolutions with the appropriate teams.
  • Create and update skinny documents that may impact content structure.
  • Collaborate with the Case Creation/Selection teams to provide necessary information for the content publishing process.

Content Tracking:

  • Monitor the status of content/components required for publishing, ensuring timely follow-up on missing assets.
  • Provide weekly updates on content availability to key teams, including Strategy and Content Operations.
  • Manage critical content status and collaborate with relevant teams on various scenarios as needed.
  • Handle diverse content types, including Day & Date, branded, gold medal, and social media content.

Content Readiness:

  • Ensure timely publication of content on the streaming platform.
  • Verify that all components (video, metadata, and artwork) are current and accurately reflect the published content.

Content Troubleshooting/Resolution:

  • Follow up on issues and rejections with the appropriate teams and support staff for resolution.
  • Create, submit, and track ticket requests to the support team, ensuring updates are monitored until resolution.

Regional Collaboration:

  • Actively collaborate with the US team and various regions, providing updates on Original Content shared with Latin America.
  • Participate in regional meetings regarding content shared with Latin America.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the media industry.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in English language.
  • Proficient in setting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in operational processes.
  • Familiarity with project management principles.
  • General understanding of OTT platforms.
