Overview:

Kontoor Brands, Inc. is a leading global apparel company with owned manufacturing facilities in Mexico and Nicaragua, as well as over 140 retail stores across the globe.

We are seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to join our team in maintaining and promoting a positive work environment, ensuring all employees adhere to company policies, values, regulations, and procedures.

This role involves continuous communication and contact with associates to monitor the work environment and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking, and a results-oriented approach. Experience with conflict management and proficiency in computer systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet) is also required.

About the Role:

This position is responsible for maintaining and promoting a positive work environment, ensuring all employees adhere to company policies, values, regulations, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain open communication channels with employees to ensure their concerns and suggestions are heard and addressed
  • Monitor the work environment to prevent and resolve conflicts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, values, regulations, and procedures
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A results-oriented approach
  • Experience with conflict management and resolution
  • Proficiency in computer systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet)
  • Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in a related field.
