About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team. As an Account Assistant, you will play a vital role in facilitating and optimizing the import and export operations for our automotive clients at the border. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the flow of goods, communicating with customers and carriers, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth and efficient logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of goods and ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate effectively with customers and carriers to resolve any issues
  • Handle documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries
  • Follow up on deliveries and resolve any issues
  • Handle and control crossing documents
  • Utilize office tools such as Excel and Word to manage data and reports
  • Knowledge of AS400 is a plus
