About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Team Leader to join our team at Ikano-Retail. As a Food Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Focus: Ensure that our customers are always in focus and strive to make them smile. Meet and serve our customers showing empathy and care, and be willing to listen and support them with an attitude based on the IKEA values.
  • Commercial Acumen: Have an overview of the store business plan and IKEA Food action plans, and contribute to your area's action plan by supporting your manager in implementing it with the team. Secure an irresistible food offer by ensuring an attractive presentation and communication of the range.
  • Business Results: Contribute to making the IKEA store successful, high performing and capable of achieving sales growth. Work towards agreed goals and take appropriate action to ensure you meet them.
  • People Development: Work with your manager to ensure all the co-workers in your area understand the IKEA Concept and key guidelines, as well as how these have an impact on their specific roles. Lead by example and support and coach your colleagues on the job so they can meet the needs of our customers and grow professionally.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proven experience in a food service leadership role
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive sales growth
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong people development skills and ability to coach and support colleagues
