The Global Strategic Account (GSA) sales organization at Vertiv Co. is responsible for managing the company's largest, global customers. As a key member of the GSA Sales Support Team, you will play a critical role in supporting sales activities, meeting expected sales support service level agreements (SLAs), and contributing to the improvement of the sales process. Your role is essential in enabling the GSA Account Team to meet customer needs and exceed customer expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Enter sales leads into the customer relationship management (CRM) system and update them through the various stages of the sales process.
  • Create customer accounts in CRM, maintain CRM and Oracle customer data, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Understand customer requirements to create quotes in configure-price-quote (CPQ) and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Collect and prepare documentation for proposals and requests for proposal (RFPs), and coordinate with various functions, including legal and finance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives on the sales process and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collect and validate all information and relevant documentation for customer orders and associated quotations.
  • Pass relevant information to planning teams for material ordering, engineer allocation, and customer contact.
  • Ensure each order is in line with the Vertiv sales order process.

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and timely in addressing challenges in a dynamic environment working with different functional teams.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction with a personality oriented towards working in a team setting and supporting colleagues.
  • Strong learning agility to quickly adopt systems and tools, such as Oracle CRM and CPQ.
  • Flexible attitude to activities outside specific job functions.
  • Highly competent user of Microsoft 360 suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to operate autonomously or as a team member.
  • Language Skills: English.
