International Vendor Relations Manager

The International Expansions division is integral to the successful launch of new Amazon marketplaces around the world.

We are seeking a Vendor Manager to engage with our premier vendors globally and enhance our direct import operations in developing markets.

In this capacity, you will oversee the complete import supply chain process, which includes collaborating with manufacturers and ensuring product availability in our Fulfillment Centers. Your responsibilities will include formulating and implementing inventory management strategies aimed at improving the customer experience.

This position requires an individual capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment. Additionally, due to the global nature of this role in a rapidly evolving sector, we require someone with exceptional stakeholder management abilities and a proactive approach to driving initiatives forward.

This role provides an opportunity to act as a true entrepreneur, managing all aspects of the business on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate vendors about new market possibilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders of partner vendors to optimize mutual import business.
  • Improve vendor relations and import sourcing to achieve cost efficiencies and broaden selection.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders globally to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate the integration of new vendors into Amazon's supply chain, product compliance, and merchandising processes.
  • Contribute to the establishment of best practices and contract standards.
  • Monitor, analyze, and take ownership of key performance indicators such as vendor import share, out-of-stock rates, vendor operational metrics, and marketing investments.
  • Coordinate with vendors and Amazon operations to ensure a reliable, efficient, and cost-effective flow of goods from ordering to receipt.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand the systems and variables that influence purchasing decisions and vendor management.
  • Lead projects and ongoing business improvement initiatives.
