HR Business Partner

Location: Monterrey,

Opportunity

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role delivers strategic guidance and mentorship to leadership on talent and cultural initiatives that drive business growth and team development at the Mexico Technical Center (MTC). Comprehensive support encompasses recruitment, talent development, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and labor relations to enhance organizational agility and effectiveness.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with leadership to formulate, implement, and propel human resources strategies ensuring workforce plans align with organizational capabilities.

Cultivate and sustain strong relationships of trust to promote transparency, open communication, and collaboration.

Advance talent and cultural initiatives through consultation and relationship-building, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies. Utilize Talent Center of Expertise resources to embed key initiatives.

Design, implement, and coach organizational change management and communication strategies.

Develop comprehensive talent management plans to identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps, creating targeted programs to address these gaps.

Oversee recruitment efforts, positioning Kohler as an employer of choice to attract top talent for experienced roles and early career programs.

Support, develop, engage, and retain talent by creating, implementing, and maintaining talent management solutions, including engagement, succession planning, learning and development, and assessment planning.

Stay informed of local market trends and leverage insights to develop appropriate site-based HR strategies and solutions.

Foster a talent-centric culture across the organization, focusing on talent attraction, development, enhancing organizational health, and driving a high-performance culture.

Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies to promote a sense of belonging and continuous improvement within the organization.

Collaborate with leaders to ensure effective communication and associate engagement plans are making a meaningful impact.

Utilize data to proactively address issues such as turnover, organizational structure, diversity, equity, and other key indicators.

Advocate for key talent and culture initiatives at the site level.

Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is required. HR certification(s) are preferred.
A change agent in HR who thrives in ambiguity, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
A balance of strategic and tactical skills; capable of executing tasks while considering long-term strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
Proven ability to partner and collaborate within a global matrixed organization to optimize outcomes.
A passion for building trust and relationships across multiple levels of an organization.
