About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the monthly close process, maintaining an effective internal control environment, and supporting our financial reporting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable and possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
  • Review invoices for accuracy and proper approvals
  • Confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Inspect paid and unpaid invoices, including cleared payment inquiries and check voiding
  • Assist with the setup of new suppliers
  • Respond to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process
  • Investigate and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices and purchase orders
  • Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule
  • Initiate wire transfers and ACH transactions through online banking portals
  • Reconcile corporate credit cards and prepare corresponding journal entries for expense tracking

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (ERP's)

A competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per year is offered, depending on experience and qualifications.
