Job DescriptionThis role entails meticulous management of account payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment execution. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
Responsibilities- Process records related to domestic and imported purchases, freights, customs expenses, T&E expenses, etc., in accordance with company procedures.
- Verify during the payment process the existence of authorizations according to internal procedures and company controls.
- Ensure all invoices comply with tax requirements.
- Timely process supplier payments in accordance with the internal calendar.
- Vendor payment processing using various methods; disbursements, checks, and factoring.
- Answer vendor or internal customer inquiries accurately and on time.
- Participate in accounting closing or special projects as required by the AP Leader.
- Support AP Leader with audit requests.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Portuguese written and verbal communication skills (desirable).
- At least 1 year of experience in general accounting or accounts payable.
- Adequate knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Experience managing transactions with banks and suppliers.
- Proven proficiency in the use of Office and ERP (SAP desirable).
- Demonstrate ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- SAP, ESKER, and CONCUR experience a plus.
- Ability to manage time, details, and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to multitask and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing organization.
$55,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
