**Job Summary**

The Director of Group Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team in achieving revenue growth and maximizing direct revenue for the property. This role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales staff, and collaborating with the Commercial Director to drive business results.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Direct and manage all group sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel
  • Prepare, implement, and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly SMART goals, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts, and other reports as directed/required
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop rates, group ceilings, and deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis, and mix management
  • Recruit, direct, manage, train, and counsel group sales staff
