Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Corning. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the logistics strategy for our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the logistics strategy for warehousing, transportation, distribution, and trade compliance.
  • Provide direction and support for the implementation and continuous improvement of logistics solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and third-party providers for warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
  • Optimize transportation and warehousing capacity at the lowest cost while meeting business objectives.
  • Manage the transportation budget process and report on key metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in increasing responsible positions.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Extensive experience in shipping, receiving, and import-export.
  • Experience in leading teams to meet continuous improvement goals and step-change performance improvements.
  • Experience coordinating activities within functional responsibility and collaborating with other groups to achieve results.
