About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Management Specialist to join our team at Ford. As a key member of our IPI team, you will be responsible for managing the installation, testing, and debugging of assigned applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Strengthen Relationships: Foster strong relationships with business partners at North American core and integrated Vehicle Operations and Powertrain plants, identifying and communicating business requirements with Product Driven Organizations.
  2. Manage Budget and Resources: Oversee budget for requirements in New Model Program launch projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  3. Coordinate Implementation: Engage the Implementation team to process vendor quotes and orders, tracking order delivery to sites and ensuring seamless execution.
  4. Manage Launch Project Milestones: Coordinate scope with North American VO and PTO Cycle Plan, ensuring timely completion of launch project milestones.
  5. Communicate Progress and Issues: Attend and participate regularly in status meetings, reporting progress and escalating issues in need of resolution.
  6. Forecast and Submit Requirements: Work with business partners to ensure launch support requirements and costs are accurately forecasted and submitted to Manufacturing Business Office as part of New Model Program study.
  7. Flexibility and Adaptability: Be prepared to work during non-standard hours, such as evenings, weekends, holidays, or off-shift hours to meet plant support needs.
  8. Lead and Coordinate Milestones: Work with the supervisor to lead and coordinate different milestones for the IPI team.
  9. Support Technology Program Management: Collaborate with the Technology Program Management team during the launching process.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Possess a degree in computer science or a related field.
  2. High Level of English Proficiency: Demonstrate a high level of English proficiency (verbal and written).
  3. Travel and Work Requirements: Be legally able to travel to and work in Mexico and Argentina.
  4. IT Department Experience: Possess 9 years of experience working in an IT department at a Manufacturing plant VO or PTO.
Competencies and Skills
  1. Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  2. Effective Communication: Possess the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of operating management.
  3. Microsoft Office Suite: Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office application suite.
  4. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build close working relationships with customers.
  5. Time Management and Organization: Be able to comfortably manage multiple assignments at one time, with good time management skills.
  6. Broad Business Perspective: Possess a broad business and manufacturing perspective, with an in-depth understanding of assembly plant operations and business practices.
