Scopely is seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Tech Engineer to join our Tiki Solitaire TriPeaks team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading technical excellence, ensuring the app's stability and performance, and collaborating closely with game and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example with technical excellence, balancing pragmatic and ideal engineering practices
  • Keep the app up to date with important SDK upgrades and external platform requirements
  • Plan and implement strategic improvements to core game systems
  • Work closely with other engineers to investigate and fix critical production issues
  • Perform in-depth investigations on app performance and stability and identify actions for improvement

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience as a developer on mobile games or applications
  • Strong, proven skills with Unity and C#
  • Experience integrating, upgrading, and troubleshooting 3rd party SDKs, packages, and plugins in Unity (including dependency management and build issue resolution)
  • Proactive, service-oriented mindset toward teammates and users
  • High comfort level extending a complex code base with appropriate risk mitigation
  • Strong English language skills with excellent ability to clearly articulate and communicate technical issues both verbally and in writing
  • Gumption to work on the most challenging technical issues that face a live production game
