**Job Summary**

Universal Electronics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes, as well as providing support to our human resources and benefits administration.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct bi-weekly payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Manage and lead payroll execution process for hourly and administrative employees.
  • Review various reports to ensure accuracy of payroll, benefit deductions, and costing.
  • Support social security (Risk premium, workers social security payment, monthly and biweekly) and provide accounting consultant information related to social security and INFONAVIT.
  • Manage administrative and hourly benefits, including overtime, referral bonuses, and other payroll-related matters.
  • Monitor and track employee documentation and files, including processing terminations.
  • Assist in formulating HR policies, procedures, and updates, ensuring effective communication with employees.
  • Provide monthly reports to corporate finance in accordance with SOX compliance.
  • Support labor relations on hiring and terminations of administrative and hourly employees.
  • Assist the HR Manager with other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years' experience in payroll process.
  • TRESS payroll system desirable.
  • Federal labor law knowledge.
  • Social security law knowledge.
  • Employee benefits management (Saving funds and food coupons).
  • Hiring and terminations.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

**Education, Licenses & Certification**

Bachelor's degree in administration, or finance, or related field required, Graduate degree.
