As a key member of our Cost and Sustainability Engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement CO2e assessment methods and tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain CO2e assessment models and tools to support design-to-cost and CO2e reduction targets for components, modules, and assemblies.
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify best cost solutions and emerging technologies that provide cost and CO2e improvements.
- Represent sustainability in overarching initiatives and support procurement teams during negotiating events with target CO2e targets.
- Develop and implement CO2e tools and processes within the value management organization.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in manufacturing and assembly of electronic and electrical systems, sustainability/cost engineering of electronic systems.
- Fundamental knowledge in electronic, electrical, and mechanical components integrated into an assembly.
- Demonstrated minimum 5 years of experience with factors impacting design to CO2e.
- Proven experience in sustainability engineering, environmental management, or a similar role, ideally within a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in successfully dealing with decarbonization strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis, sustainability reporting, and the use of sustainability software and tools.
