Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Planner to join our team at Perkins & Will Inc. As a Medical Planner, you will be responsible for providing expert design and planning services for healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement master plans for healthcare facilities, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality healthcare projects.
  • Conduct programming and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and develop design solutions.
  • Prepare and present design concepts and alternatives to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage and coordinate with consultants and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design and delivery processes.
Requirements
  • Professional degree in architecture or related field.
  • Professional architectural license or 25 years of experience in the design profession.
  • LEED GA certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Professional accreditation in one area of Living Design (e.g., LEED AP, WELL AP, SITES AP).
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACHA Accreditation.
  • Experience with BIM and other design software.
  • Knowledge of LEAN concepts and construction techniques.
