What You'll Do

As an Operations Associate - Onboarding Requirements Investigator, you will be part of a brand new global team launching Stripe Delivery Centers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing existing user accounts going through onboarding changes
  • Troubleshooting and identifying paths to solve certain onboarding requirements
  • Analyzing operational processes and instigating changes to scale and improve user onboarding remediation experience
  • Working closely with other Stripe teams to improve our product offerings and messaging around evolving onboarding requirements
  • Gaining unique insights into how thousands of businesses implement the onboarding changes
  • Having an opportunity to learn how Stripe operates from the ground up and make a real impact on the future of the organization
  • Being part of building a brand new team and operational culture for Stripe
  • Partnering with global operations specialists or business process owners to run a critical workflow

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

  • New grad - less than 12 months of full-time experience
  • User-first mindset and energized by the challenge of solving difficult problems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Excel in analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Prior experience in customer service or internal/external user-facing operations
  • Enjoy learning about technical products and processes
  • Organized, self-starter with passion for finding solutions to user challenges
  • Process-oriented mindset and ability to get things done
  • Enjoy working in an in-office environment with strong cross-team collaboration and support
  • Able to prioritize and enjoy working in a quick-moving environment
  • Humble and have a proven track record for working well across teams and with external partners
  • Willing to periodically work a weekend day for which you will receive a weekday off

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience investigating user pain points, reviewing user alert details, understanding mitigation factors, and making determinations/escalations. Prior experience or knowledge in user support, troubleshooting, and working on projects or process improvement initiatives.
