• Lead lessons learned for domain area

• Own initiatives to address Safety, Quality or Warranty concerns

• Support program specific new feature development

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering or an equivalent from an ABET accredited university

• 5 years of automotive experience

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to communicate technical content to a non-technical audience

• Strong Automotive Systems Background

• Strong Background in Engineering Product Development

• Knowledge with FMEA, FTA, HARA

• Experience with Safety plan, Safety Case, Safety Management

• Knowledge in Writing Safety Requirements at all Levels

• Ability to interpret various regulatory requirements and Industry Best practices

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Master of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university

• Knowledge of IBM doors and ANSYS Medini Analyze or similar ALM/PLM management tools

• Experience with embedded software development

• Experience with Systems Engineering

• Experience with system network topology diagrams

• Background of Managing Safety plan, Assessment, Audit experience

• System Safety Background

• Acted as Functional Safety Manager for at least 1 project.

• Able to Understand Problem from all aspects (Software, Hardware, Field)
