Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Solutions Architect to join our Solution Consulting organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding our customers and users to design and build reliable, scalable systems using our data platform. You will work closely with our Customer Success Managers and Relationship Account Managers to help customers solve business problems by leveraging our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions to customers and stakeholders
  • Partner with our Customer Organization to ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises
  • Align with sales teams to support remote/onsite sales with activities such as technical discovery, demos, presentation, sizing, and documentation of technical decision criteria
  • Implement and maintain technology toolkits to drive compelling demonstrations and POCs
  • Advise customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for making the best use of MongoDB
  • Assess and diagnose issues within a customer environment to provide recommendations about MongoDB best practices
  • Translate technical concepts and patterns into business benefits
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional work experience within software development, consulting, Pre-Sales, or related fields
  • 2+ years of Pre-Sales experience with enterprise software
  • 2+ years of software development experience, with working knowledge and ability to code with one or more modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#)
  • A mind for technology and ability to learn about MongoDB and databases
  • Experience with or knowledge of scalable and highly available distributed systems
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar degree or equivalent work experience
