Position Overview:
- Windows Clustering: Architect, configure, and oversee Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Active Directory Management: Oversee and maintain Active Directory (AD) services, focusing on user and group administration, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and domain controller setup.
- Privilege Access Management: Administer PAM solutions to secure access to essential systems and data.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Implement, manage, and monitor cloud services on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
- Data Replication: Employ DataKeeper for synchronous and asynchronous data replication to guarantee redundancy and high availability.
- PowerShell Automation: Create, test, and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate system administration tasks and enhance processes.
- Group Policy Administration: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot GPOs to effectively manage and secure Windows environments.
- MSSQL Cluster Oversight: Configure and manage MSSQL clusters to ensure database availability, performance, and reliability.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Identify and resolve complex issues within Windows environments, including performance bottlenecks, system failures, and security incidents.
- SFTP Management: Implement and oversee Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) solutions and manage Globalscape for secure data transfer and storage.
- Distributed Systems Management: Design, deploy, and manage distributed Windows-based systems to support business applications and services.
- Microsoft Certification Maintenance: Maintain relevant Microsoft certifications to ensure current knowledge and adherence to best practices.
- Network Security: Implement security measures and best practices to enhance the security of Windows servers and network infrastructure.
- Automation and CI/CD Development: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and configuration management.
- Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, procedures, and changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 10-12+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Windows Clustering, Active Directory, PAM, Azure, GCP, and other specified technologies.
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Thorough understanding of Windows Server hardening practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA).
- Industry certification in Azure/GCP.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional automation tools and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
