Position Overview:

  • Windows Clustering: Architect, configure, and oversee Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) to ensure high availability and effective disaster recovery.
  • Active Directory Management: Administer and sustain Active Directory (AD) services, focusing on user and group management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and domain controller setup.
  • Privilege Access Management: Oversee PAM solutions to guarantee secure access to essential systems and data.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud services on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Data Replication: Implement DataKeeper for synchronous and asynchronous data replication to maintain redundancy and high availability.
  • PowerShell Automation: Create, test, and sustain PowerShell scripts to automate system administration tasks and enhance processes.
  • Group Policy Administration: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot GPOs to effectively manage and secure Windows environments.
  • MSSQL Cluster Oversight: Configure and manage MSSQL clusters to ensure database availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting Expertise: Identify and resolve intricate issues related to Windows environments, including performance bottlenecks, system failures, and security vulnerabilities.
  • SFTP Management: Implement and oversee Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) solutions and manage Globalscape for secure data transfer and storage.
  • Distributed Systems Management: Design, deploy, and manage distributed Windows-based systems to support business applications and services.
  • Certification Maintenance: Keep relevant Microsoft certifications to ensure current knowledge and adherence to best practices.
  • Network Security: Apply security measures and best practices to fortify Windows servers and network infrastructure against potential threats.
  • Automation and CI/CD Development: Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and configuration management processes.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all configurations, procedures, and changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 10-12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Windows Clustering, Active Directory, PAM, Azure, GCP, and other specified technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Windows Server hardening techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA).
  • Azure/GCP industry certification.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
